Hurts the Rockets insofar as the Spurs could have beat a bunch of the teams near us in the standings and tehre's only 1 game left vs. them.
People believe the Spurs are faking an injury to get Flagg similar to David Robinson's phantom back and foot injuries in 1996-1997. However, it's also possible the league is secretly suspending Wemby for betting on games (and All-Star events like the disastrous Skills Challenge) like Jordan in 1993. Don't be surprised if Wemby shows up in the outfield for the Round Rock Express this summer...
Things of this nature have increased after the vax. They might not be at all related, but many disturbing revelations about blood clots increasing from not just the vax but the virus itself. DVT is no joke.
People said I was crazy for wanting Amen over Wemby, reality is a guy like Wemby shouldnt exist nobody that tall can move like he does without things breaking sooner or later. I think 6 feet is the limit for athletic freaks once you are taller than that its a health risk already. With that said losing Wemby is a big blow to the NBA. He was crowned the new face of the league and was living up to the hype. I doubt this is a Sagg for Flagg move Spurs signed CP3 and traded for Fox they wanted to make a playoff run. Plus this hurts Wemby's stock he wouldnt want to be called injury prone in just his 2nd year.
I'm saddened that so many of the posts in thread are purporting a conspiracy of tanking instead of treating the young man as a person who now may be dealing with a serious health condition. Especially given that no young athletic person of his age group should be developing blood clots even due to a long flight.
I doubt anybody is wishing harm on the young fella. But this smells like when a majority of the publications had Wembly going to the Spurs (pre lottery fiasco) as the Spurs had a much better record than 5 or 6 teams. Spurs already said this is a not a big deal and will be 100% recovered by the start of next season. Which only helps the Spurs getting better odds in selecting one of the top players in this very deep and talented draft.
Hate the spurs Hate the franch Hate his rockets hate As a human being, hope Wimpy retires a multimillionaire. PS The KarMalone here wasn't from the cheating, but for throwing cp3 under the bus.
I meant 6 ft range like up till 6'10 or 6'11. But thh even that is stretching it we see guys like TimeLord and Mark Williams being injury prone. Once you have 7'1 and taller guys and these people are extremely athletic I dont think their body can hold up under the stress of gravity over time.
Bosh had his thrombosis near his lung, so when organs are involved, it has far more serious consequences. Even life threatening.
