wow. blood clots is serious ****. this isnt some general soreness shenanigans to tank for players. hope its an isolated thing and he can keep playing.
They ain't tanking. There's no way they can catch Washington, Utah, or New Orleans. This is no joke. Bosh's career ended over the same illness(albeit in his leg, not shoulder).
I expected him to get hurt at some point in his early career but thought injury like knees/hips/etc., not blood clots. From a human perspective, hope he recovers.
Supposedly Brandon Ingram had the same thing happen in his arm in 2019. He got surgery and recovered just fine.
From a basketball perspective, I would hope you would hope he recovers, too. I haven't seen any reason to root against Wemby, other than the fact that he plays for another team.
Well, he did disrespect the Rockets on draft lottery night, so I will always root against his basketball success after that (unless he somehow ends up playing for us, which I doubt). But there's a difference between wanting him to fail competitively and wishing injury/illness on him. Hope he makes a full recovery and his team gets the **** beat out of it in the playoffs every season from there on out.
