Rumor is that Leon is just cost cutting and has no interest in actual waste/fraud/abuse.

 

He is just cutting cost, but a lot of those costs involve waste/fraud/abuse/money laundering. Some people will end up going to jail for their actions. As it should be.

Right now he's just hitting the low hanging fruit. I cant wait until he starts doing a deeper dive into the good stuff.

You shouldn't need a link to know that there's waste/fraud/abuse/money laundering going on. Read/watch/listen to the news. Even the Dems agree.

I'm old enough to remember when Republicans were blaming such payments for causing inflation.

 

Inflation is already here thanks to the inflation reduction act (Green New Deal)

I'm really looking forward to getting back some of my tax dollars that were being wasted. It's found money, like being stuck in your jacket pocket. But I'm not against paying all of the found money down on the debt.

 

The inflation was here before the IRA. And while that name is a misnomer, inflation started decreasing.

Also, are you saying once inflation is here, more of it is fine?

The last time the US economy was inflicted with Stagflation was in the 1970s, during the Nixon/Ford/Carter era;
it was marked by rising cost of living and unemployment leading to stagnant economic activities [the US economic engine was stalling]

 

I don't think anyone disagrees there is waste and inefficiency. If you're going make charges of criminal activity such as money laundering and fraud, then nobody should just accept that without some amount of evidence.

You seem very trusting of of people in government and political parties to believe what they say without any verification.

 

I cant wait until Kash is confirmed and some of these people start getting arrested/convicted. The fact that you think there's no fraud in the Federal govt is laughable. One of the heads of an org in Africa has already given back 300 mil of the money USAID gave him and no I dont have a kink.
