One game and the first game :D

Not going to overreact, we played much worse last season opener and got much better during the season.

Clearly we should not fire him, but he needs to do better, his offensive system sucks and his adjustments are slow.

Sengun against a packed more athletic paint - invert the offense, let Sengun play at the post and playmake.

Our team just went 1 v 5 too often.....and Jalen still struggles and has only 1 speed on attack, he needs to change speeds and change directions - when will he do that?

I know he lead the Celtics to a finals appearance but the Celtics dumped him and won a championship

Luke Walton did the same thing. Some teams don't even need a coach. I hate coaches who's biggest trait is their ability to get guys to play hard. Because one guys stop playing hard then what?

I don't want him fired but it's pretty clear this is not a well coached team at the moment.

To be fair he was signed to take over a train wreck....and he turned it around with accountability....

Now that it was time to go farther, he is having problems......give him some time at least.

It was a back-to-back game, adjustments were made and we almost pulled out the win. Knee jerk thread and perhaps with an agenda

I’ll give him this season. If we’re healthy and end up with a worse record than last year, it’s time to move on.

    Very corny and agenda-ridden bump.

We're still smashing the goal of playoffs this year and are down two injured starters one our starting PG, and also Eason with Sengun shaking off rust.

No worries gentlemen just need to wear off the stench of winning Coach of the Month. Any award for coaches is a curse. @Reeko

He's similar to Pringle's except he's a D guy and Pringle's was O. Great at setting up a system for what he knows but completely incompetent when it comes to in game management of players and situations.

He's both the reason we've developed to where we are quickly but also likely the reason we won't be able to go all the way in the playoffs. You just have to be in control during the game.

He obviously shouldn't be fired but be great if he can admit his faults and hire someone to better manage these or work on them himself. His lack of accountability is a worry though.

Yeah he's just an average offensive coach after the halfway point of each season but he's the best defensive and best prepared coach in the NBA so it works out. We really need a great offensive lead assistant - probably too late for this season but this summer hopefully. Have a feeling they'll do it.

We're losing right now because we're tired and are dealing with knock-on injury issues too. We're more exhausted than other teams because we pushed harder than everyone else to get to 2nd place. It's just very logical even though your ego wants to find something more human-like to blame.

Seems to get in his own head the angrier he gets at the players - Stone is going to have to trade Tate so Ime stops putting him in during late game situations on D - Tate is great against bigs but wings and guards blow by him - Brooks is becoming cement feet also could be all the minutes

Ime should have been on his feet last 2 minutes of this game and he just sit in his seat stewing during that Reed and JG 3 with under 40 seconds left in game …that’s on him
