They can freeze checks for any reason. They can freeze your account if they "suspect" anything. The cfpb alone has helped over 3000 people get close to a billion dollars in just frozen crypto assets. The cfpb has control over credit agencies. If you get hit by a fake collection or a faulty late charge by a credit card the only agencies that can handle that is the cfpb. They are the only cop on the block. Again get your head out of your ass and stop capitulating to billionaires and big corporations. They are not your friend
1) I dont use checks. 2) Banks already can freeze your account. All they need to do is suspect fraud. 3) Banks can not indefinitely keep funds. CFPB doesn't do **** in the grand scheme.
