Republicans and Democrats in Congress better not sit back with their heads in the sand and ignore the signs. If they do, they are defending the actions, and will be accomplices to everything evil, illegal, and immoral Trump does. They can't call themselves believers in Democracy, our values, and our nation by throwing their gut feelings, morals, and ethics out the window and doing nothing to stop Trump. If they pledge loyalty to a wannabe King over doing the right thing, they are pledging their oath to a madman over this country, and the people of this country.

 

I can understand the leftist anarchist perspective of "breaking laws" or norms because capital has become so powerful that it creates laws to reinforce the power of capital(Luigi). Like for **** sakes, ignore the Senate Parliamentarian to push federal increase in minimum wage. Like that is low hanging fruit stuff Democrats could "break" and help American lives.

For number three it's more specifically "saving the cultural identity of the country".

Right wing populism doesn't care about saving the country from poverty or housing shortages for example. If they are trying to save the country it's because of some identity issue they feel is being lost for example women aren't in kitchens with bare feet enough compared to the golden days.

Democrats and Republicans both need to take their heads out of the sand, or they will all be held accountable if our Democracy dissolves before our eyes. If they let the President of the United States rule as he pleases, with total control, then what ethics, morals and conscience do they really have? They are condoning anything and everything Trump does by doing nothing. It's not the patriotism and Democracy that I believe in when you pledge an oath to a man instead of the country.
