Hopefully his trend of heating up later in the season continues.

Seriously? Every Jalen superfan was hyping this for years. For three years it was all sunshine, all the time.

This year they may have changed it to "I think he'll get to Ant's level" or "I wouldn't trade him for Ant" but to act like they hadn't said this is asinine.

Sorry little one, but yet again you don't know what you are talking about....to no one's surprise.

The Rockets offensive and defensive ratings take an 11.6 point hit when Jalen is on the court compared to when he is off the court....the worst on the team among players who have logged at least 300 minutes.

His presence on the court makes the offense slightly worse, and the defense massively worse.

I know this goes over your head, and there's no chance you'll follow along, but I thought I'd at least try to educate you with the facts.

    Good luck!

Haven't commented on this thread in a while. There's really nothing new to say or read about Jalen at this point. He is who he is. And the discussion is getting to the level of pointless as discussion around Jeremy Lin back in the days.

People want him to be a star so badly. Enough is enough. Four years in, we know who he is. He’s not a lead dog, he’s not the “numero uno.” If the Rockets want to go to the next level, it’s time to upgrade and move on.

With him playing through the injures he has had the last month since everyone been going down, I’m reserving the right to judge him post ASB once he’s had time to heal

Y'all can stfu this time around, you were not owed a good game. Don't like it? Go blame your coach and GM, not the only player who barely made it to the finish line before the ASB. I told you 4 games ago, don't expect any more good games this guy has been literally dragging his leg around for weeks and his minutes are still crazy high, plus we don't have a PG for a lot of this stretch. Still had a great game and won another.

If you have a single ounce of logic in you, as a fan you showed up to this game knowing that we're probably going to lose and a good outcome is no injuries during a time of fatigue. A win would have been a great bonus.

Good job Jalen, take that well-deserved rest and do a little maintenance work on that jumper. I know you'll show up in the second half, hope everyone else does too.

82 games is tough both mentally and physically especially when we have shifted from being bottom dwellers to legitimate playoff aspirations. Rest up and get ready for the next leg of the season

There was one point the ball was at his feet and he shrunk away from it while a GS player dived on it.

    It was pathetic of Green.

Bottom line is that Jalen Green is SOFT.....he is just that kind of player, never one you can build a team around, he just doesn't have that competitive win at all costs mentality.

It's a shame "injuries" have caused Jalen Green to play like he has nearly his entire career. Hope he recovers.

Whether they want to admit it or not, we're in a new reality for Jalen. The Jaterade has been upgraded to suit this new reality:

    - I'm mad he's not a superstar.
    - I'm mad he isn't showing he can lead a team to a title at 23 years old
    - I'm mad that he's not a PG
    - His best first half ever is not good enough
    - Why isn't he making like 37% of his 8 attempted 3's so that he goes from one of the worst shooters in the NBA to one of the best in the NBA in less than a year?

So while they continue to repeat their mantra of "he is who he is", the player and their own expectations changed before their very eyes and they did not even notice.

These are the conditions the universe set for us. If you hate on something, your entire brain will help you see flaws it in and blur out the good things about it. Happens to be a scientific fact. You are the one setting the "mode" for your brain and the mission for your ego. Hating turns you from the boss of this system to the employee of this system because when you hate on Jalen Green and then you

    Future haterade:

    - He's an all star but not a superstar
    - He's a superstar but has not won WCF
    - He can win big series but can he lead scoring in Finals
    - Yes he can but he's not like a Finals MVP type
    - Yes but why can't he carry his team to championships without elite teammates?

Do you understand how hating happens? Haters WILL hate until they stop all their hatred simultaneously. Till then, they won't stop the act of hating, they will just keep moving the goalposts and not remembering.

Yep, some misguided fans make threads saying Chapter X and fill it with hyperbole.....and nonsense.

Then make excuse after excuse as to why they are right, when clearly the evidence shows otherwise.

It must be so tiring always needing to come up with excuse after excuse after excuse for a player who does nothing but let you down.

It's hilarious your dedication to mediocre

he was horrific last night. nothing more to say about it.

he's needs to develop a floater or else he will continue to have the coldest streaks with his shooting.
