Sabrina went 1-19 wtf, that's insane. I saw her play live her senior year when her HS played at the HS i teach at, and we are not a good school for girls basketball. It was funny to watch, she was basically playing a different sport.
One one hand, striking now is absolutely the right move from the players standpoint. But on the other hand, the WNBA might not be in a position to give them want they want. This is risky. They just can't afford not to play and lose fan interest. This is literally the tipping point for the league. They either all get on the same page and make a leap of faith that it's all going to payoff, and hope it does. Or they hamstring everything by walking out.
Check this request out I made: https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/requesting-to-add-wnba-dish-wnba-draft.322853/ I was hoping for more traffic and support.
Juju Watkins put up 38-11-5 with 8 blocks against the number 1 team in the country (UCLA) tonight! Too bad the game was on Peacock.
Looks like they made an exception for our Lithuanian Jocyte and allowed her to be drafted by international rules despite her being born in D.C. Can't wait to see her in the WNBA. She's only 19, but it's getting close to a decade since she's made her debut on the national women's team.
