Hey Keeley - please excuse me, but I simply can´t refrain from posting this:

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Just look what Bayern did to Real -- and will do again.

You see, although I´m not a Bayern fan, I still suffer from last year´s CL Final loss. That was really hard to take.

However, I hoped for a rematch. Whenever Germans play British, it´s going to be fun!

    Jovi,

I believe that I handled that win last May quite well, considering how you practically spammed my mailbox with garbage before and after the match.

    Classy.

Actually, it could argued that Real Madrid are playing better than Bayern Munich who still seem to searching for Lothar's replacement. I don't think they're pleased with the job Jeremies has done so far. Any word on Effenberg's injury? If he can't play, i like Madrid's chances.

I saw the end of that Bayern-Man U match last year on my honeymoon (ssssssh -- don't tell my wife -- she was sleeping). I didn't have a preference between the teams, and I couldn't make head or tail of the commentary (I was watching it on Italian TV), but it was one of the greatest finishes I have ever seen to a sporting event. I don't care who wins the damned tournament. I just want to see one more game like that one.

P.S. Those two Manu U goals in '99 give the team a legend that will last a decade, just like the Rockets' never-say-die championship run in '95. No amount of choking by Man U over the next 10 years will erase that feat.

Keeley: This probably is the only way of coping with last year´s loss. Believe me, it helps and feels good.

Jeremies will be a great player in a few years, but he hasn´t performed well in the last couple of games. Did you see his incredible own goal, which was even 10 times worse tha Keane´s?
However, Effenberg will be sidelined for at least 3 more weeks, meaning he will probably miss the season finale but return for the CL final in Paris.

I think the match between Barcelona and Chelsea was on of the better ones we will ever see in the Champions League. Granted, last year's finish was also great. It's always nice to see the Germans lose [IMG]
Just kidding you, Jovi. As a Dutchman, I have to stick that in there somewhere.

Anyway, I think it's either Barcelona or Bayern this season. No way Valencia wins, and I just can't see Real pulling of another miracle. Remember, they were the underdogs coming into the match against Manchester.

"...just like the Rockets' never-say-die championship run in '95."
Hmm..I don't think the Rockets are in that category, even if they do deserve it. Hell, we weren't even included in the "Greatest comebacks" video.

<<It´s always nice to see Germans lose>>

That´s right. That´s what international football is all about:

See your neighbors lose, especially England.

Ace, you know what I mean [IMG]

As for Keeley, we don´t consider the US a true rival... [IMG]
