Alex Bregman Appreciation Thread

Among the top 10 all time in postseason home runs, runs, and RBIs. I'll miss his ABs and his fielding. Feels like the end of an era.

 

It's going to be really easy to root for Boston in the division.

But it is going to suck seeing a dejected Alex after the Astros eliminate them in the ALCS.

 

Bregman is one of those players you love when he’s on your team and hate when he’s not. I loved him when he was an Astro. He’s not on the Astros anymore.

 

Derek Fisher is the man!

 

I knew it wouldn't happen. Paying guys top dollar in their 30's isn't a wise decision for any team not named the Dodgers.

 

Ugh. Echo what others have said. Best Wishes Alex -- except when playing the Astros.

Doesn’t feel that long ago that we were watching his unbelievably unlucky 0 for to start his career. We won’t have defense at 3rd like that for quite some time I’m afraid. Loved the guy.

That being said, 40 million a year is a bit too much if you ask me, and I don’t mind the Astros moving on if he was stuck on a huge yearly salary. Wish him nothing but the best!

Finally, the end of an agonizing process. Bregman was a great fielder and a clutch hitter. The problem was it seemed like the season was about over before he got going. I wish him well, but I like the outcome. Time to move on.

Nothing lasts forever. Heroes get remembered, but legends never die. Hope the guy that made the Phi Slama Jama 30 for 30 can make one on the Astros' dynasty.

Alex bregman will probably net around 850k every 2 weeks. Imagine that.
