I have pondered this for weeks, my friend. I have come to the conclusion that it is not "FORMER Rockets Legend", as if the player was once a Rockets Legend, but no more, but rather "former Rockets LEGEND". As in, he was formerly a Rocket but is always a Rockets Legend. There is a variation on this I'm still pondering since it would take further thought to reconcile. lol. I also pondered whether a Rockets Legend could ever be "formerly" a Rockets Legend. And the answer, in rare cases, is, yes. Scottie Pippen is no longer a Rockets Legend.
Go far away to think better - like I did ... another Marvel Universe where anything is possible, if you can :
LOL this would be like having Ben Simmons around Reed. The last thing we need is more mental midgets rubbing off our Reed who’s already trying to overcome being scared on the court. Give Harden a fat cheque and have him take Reed around the strip clubs for a couple of months.
Don't see anyone saying it's a big deal he can dunk. Just highlighting an accomplishment for our latest high lottery rookie.
It’s weirder there are Rocket fans against cheering for the dude we used the 3rd pick on when he does something positive.
Ime likes to see the young guys like Tate, Holiday, and Jeff Green get plenty of minutes to develop in games that are unsalvageable.
Truly painful. I can't tell whether it's his foot speed, his defensive instincts, him being confused by NBA offenses, or that he's just in his head too much. I suspect the latter, which hopefully means he'll get past it.
Ime gave him a shot and he blew it. Can't blame this one on the coach when Reed looked like a turnstile out there.
I may have to rewatch his minutes. I didn't really see him get cooked, although he was targeted. He frustratingly went under screens when guarding shooters, but I don't know if the intention was to switch those or not. He obviously did something wrong because he didn't get a chance to run with the stay ready squad in the second half.
I don't think Ime is all that great at development - he seems to be more effort than teaching..... Reed needs to be playing, and learning from his mistakes.....if not on the Rockets, than on the Vipers. He needs PT.... DD
