Lakers are gonna once again play 8 on 5. Officials included. Their number of FT will explode from here on out.
I voted yes. Luka put some energy back on Lebron he is playing well again after looking like he was washed early in the season. This is the 2nd time in his life Lebron wont have the burden of being the guy and we saw in the Olympics he thrives when he doesnt have that type of pressure on him. The trade even got rescinded and they somehow got Alex Len.
Honestly . . . the danger of this team They will remind me of HARDEN/CP3 in the 65 win team I have concerns Rocket River
Wonder if this info was "leaked" by Nico for damage control. "I did try. He just wasn't worth that much!"
Here is my thing This is a dangerous team because they have some nice peices. The Question is COACHING DanAndToni had the Rockets killing teams to the tune of 65 wins and a hamstring away from the CHampionship round Luka Doncic - Harden Austin Reaves - CP3 Rui Hachimura - Ariza LeBron James - PJ Tucker Jaxson Hayes - Clint Capela Dalton Knecht - Eric Gordon Dorian Finney-Smith - Joe Johnson Jordan Goodwin - Ryan Anderson Shake Milton - Luc Moute Jarred Vanderbilt - Gerald Green Cam Reddish - Bobby Brown Gabe Vincent - NeNe I'm not saying the will win or do as good I am saying that it is not out of the realm of possibilities Is JJ as good a coach as DanAndToni? Can their Defense be as strong as BIG BzDelic? They definitely don't have the 3 pt shooters Probably not this year but I would not underestimate them Rocket River
I don't think coaching is the question at all. With LeBron teams, the only thing that matters is if LeBron gets along with the coach. That does not seem to be an issue here. The addition of Luka makes the coach even less relevant, as long as Luka likes the coach. LeBron told Luka during a huddle "Be your ******* self", so the offense will be dictated by Luka and LeBron. Period. Unless JJ Redick wants to be run over by a freight train, I assume he understands the Lakers have two head coaches and he is just the top assistant.
The Lakers have a good record. They had been playing well for a while now. Even without Davis and/or LeBron. So the coaching is probably fine. We'll see if Doncic will be able to be himself on a team with LeBron. Paul was able to share with Harden while having a history of ball dominance, but he was not a volume scorer like LeBron still is. Paul also gave consistent effort and focus on the defensive end while LeBron does not. The Lakers would love even current Capela and those Rockets would have loved Finney-Smith. Interesting comparison. The talent levels are not that off. I wonder if that Rockets team would be as successful in this NBA. Probably. That Harden was so great.
since Luka will take majority of the scoring, playmaking, and rebounding I'm pretty sure Lebron wouldn't mind focusing more on defense
