This is a good post. I think we are to quick to call out JG's shortcomings, and forget how instrumental he may have been in some plays.
Good to see Reed doing a couple nice things including a tasty steal We've seen the terror twins, time to unleash the Striplets
Then it makes even less sense not to play Tari tom. If he will break down just cuz a B2B after 2 days rest he shouldnt be playing.
Honestly if we have to win just 1 game then ok glad we won this one. However without Adams and Tari on a B2B the next game feels like an auto loss.. Also if we are getting just 1 guy you know what, give me 36 yo Durant over 28 yr old Booker. KD is just amazing and almost won them the game singlehandedly.
If they are being extra careful they shouldnt play him at all. I dont get playing heavy mins and then sitting the guy out.
Why? I don't know anything about how you maintain a surgically repaired leg... Anyhow, he was supposed to be limited to 25 min I think. Guess they increased it recently or they just played him anyway.
If he is still recovering playing him lots of mins is gonna F him up like AD and his abductor strain. They shouldnt rush him to play. OTH if he is healthy enough to play then he should be able to play B2B. Thats the way I see it anyway. He already sat out several B2Bs is he gonna be this way till the end of the season? It makes zero sense to me tbh. Like assume he is AD he is suffering from an Abductor strain but is slightly recovered. Ok then dont play him because if you play him it might aggravate his condition and then he'll be out the rest of the season. The only time he is should be playing is if he is fully recovered cuz then you dont risk a relapse. Bball is a very intense sport if you are still hurting even if you play just 15 mins you can still aggravate your injury. OTH if the medical staff gave the go ahead to play him and he literally played 30 mins then why is he stopped from B2B, esp after a two day rest? The way him and Adams are being treated doesnt make any sense to me.
Unfortunately the GSw game seems like a scheduled loss unless somebody on our side balls out his mind.
The Rockets have 5 B2Bs post-All-Star Break in 27 remaining games. @UTA SAS @IND CHI @LAL Utah and San Antonio will also be on B2Bs and Chicago sucks. The only real tough games(assuming Jabari and Fred are back) will be at Indiana and at the Lakers. It's not that bad of a schedule.
Thanks for the correction, I don't know why I thought I heard someone say we have a ton of back to backs but we finish them early. Anyways, thanks for the correction. The rest of our schedule is one of the easiest in the league I believe. 6th easiest? Something like that.
