Got one for me as well? I won't respond. Thanks. Malakas was an abrupt one, hope it is merely temporary.
I mean, the guy is one of the main reasons this thread is alive and about to cross the 1k pages. Not even Dmo had this level of love from his groupies. I like to talk about Sengun, hope he can comeback soon. As for Alpi, dude, do something, we need you in there. This can't be a copy of last season please.
What are they saying about Sengun: "He has 10 pts in the quarter and doesn't touch the ball for the next 5 minutes. What is going on? " -Patrick Creighton- "Thankfully they keep shooting and missing threes." Tim Kempton on Rox offense.
Not banned, I just assumed sorry. Taking some time away for other endeavors, hopefully ATW returns in the future.
Since ATW is not here, someone needs to remind everyone how important Alpi is to this team. Even though he often avoids taking the shot, he always finds a way to step up whenever we need a pillar on offense or defense. We sometimes get frustrated when he misses easy shots, but his true value becomes evident when he's not on the court. Without him, the team looks like a rudderless ship drifting aimlessly. We all have to admit that he is the All-Star of this team.
Whoops. Substitute Turks for Germans. It wasn't that funny anyway. A little bit of Scotch goes a long way.
I'm new here, but I've been following the forum for a long time. I'm a fan of Beşiktaş, the team where Alperen was named MVP back in Turkey. When he got drafted, the first thing I did was Google a Houston fan forum, and I've been a hardcore follower here for over three years now. I’m familiar with almost everyone here. I don’t personally know ATW—if he was from Turkey, I’d probably have heard of him. But I really admire the effort he's put into making Alperen more visible. I totally get that some Turkish fans on Twitter go a bit overboard defending Alperen, and I can see how that might annoy Houston’s loyal fans. Honestly, even I find it frustrating sometimes. Some of it comes from a football-style fanaticism, and some from the feeling that Alperen isn’t fully appreciated in Houston. There’s got to be a middle ground. Alperen needs Houston, and Houston needs Alperen. Hopefully, this partnership lasts for many years!
