How do you select a certain part of an image? For example, you have a pic of Charles Barkley. However, you just want his body (i.e. nothing surrounding his body) to edit and subsequently post on your page. I haven't been able to figure out how to do that. What kind of programs do you use? programs used to edit images... Corel PhotoPaint Adobe PhotoShop Microsoft Draw Fireworks and many others... Almost any decent graphics program can create the effect you are looking for. You can even find older used versions of the aforementioned programs and still achieve that effect and more. Practice and patience is what it takes... for some folks it like art... happy editing, rockHEAD ------------------
I actually just got fireworks...so I'm still trying to figure out how to use it. Does anyone know how to do it with Fireworks? I tried cutting the bits around it, but it doesn't look right. use the lasso tool there are 3 different ones... the lasso, the line lasso and the wand... try those out... then if you can find an erase tool, try that and zoom and change your eraser size and work closely... good luck rockHEAD ------------------
