Feel like 1 FRP and young talent should be enough for Durant. Then 2 - 4 FRPs and SRPs should be enough for Booker. Considering how little the Lakers gave up for Luka and how little San Antonio gave away for Fox. If the Suns fall out of the playoffs their pick is super valuable and I don't see a reason why they wouldn't trade with us. I can't possibly fathom the owner paying these players 100+ million to barely make the play-in tournament.
But I don't really care about Sheppard's shooting numbers because I have higher expectations of Jalen since he's my favorite player. Reed will shoot better. Jalen will shoot better. I'm mad he didn't shoot better today. Simple as that
Amen with the quiet triple double? due to nobody in the broadcast saying a thing. Durant with back to back 42 minute nights. PhX: if he dies he dies
Im talking about clutch games where he was the go-to player similar to KD or Kyrie....etc. Anyone can get empty calories when they shoot more than 20 shots per game. He shot 15 THREE pointers this game. Grizzlies game I can give you credit but it was a blow-out. The Knicks went to Brunson every single play down the stretch. Have we ever done anything remotely similar to that with Green? The complaint is that people are tired of the up and down play, not that he doesn't have good games. I was euphoric in November when he was a star but was having a stroke in December and recently.
I literally posted a game where he took over in the fourth with the Mavs? Wtf does empty calories mean? Scoring efficiency is scoring efficiency and guess what buddy... Green scores at a higher efficiency than both Sengun and Fred this season. Empty calories? What are you? TNT half time analyst who just spits platitudes?
The Grizzlies game was when Jalen hit a game-winning layup (shoulda been an and-one), not a blowout. The OTHER Grizzlies game was the blowout one. Right now Jalen isn't a Brunson, or a SGA, or even a Kevin Martin in terms of scoring reliability yet. Partially that's because he doesn't generate foul calls, and partially it's because his shooting just isn't good enough yet. His strength will improve with age but the main thing that'll determine his ceiling as a Rocket is how his shooting progresses, and if it doesn't keep trending up--then we better hope we have a shitton of spacing or it's not gonna work. That said, I think he will figure out his shooting. And even when that happens I hope he cuts down on 3pt volume.
Decided to go do dishes for 2 minutes left in the 4th qtr. Glad that it worked out Definitely don't want to see we blow up 4 pt lead with a failed in-bound again
