    I can get with this.

Only thing I would change is grabbing a DB with the fourth rounder for depth.

Lack of effort is what I heard from one guy but two others just said character issues. I'm guessing we'll hear more leading up to the draft.

Everything definitely ends up coming out. Appreciate the info. Lack of effort is a big problem. If that's the case I would definitely pass. If he's not trying in college there's a really good chance he won't in the NFL

Out of those listed, I believe the cream of the crop for each will end up being:

    Alfred Collins
    Mason Taylor
    Emeka Egbuka

I would love to have these 3 guys in the first 3 rds of the draft. If they drafted these guys they would have to add IOL in FA. Notebook, Fries, Teven Jenkins are cheap guys I would look at signing in FA.

I agree on a vet OL... I don't think Noteboom (more tackle than IOL?), Fries, or Jenkins will be cheap.

I bet you will be able to sign them for 2 yrs 13 mil for Notebook who was playing RG for the Rams last year, same with Jenkins. Both have experience playing on the left side of the ol. Fries will probably cost more but nothing like what say Trey Smith will cost.

Would that entail signing an older guard that is nearing the tail-end of his career? I'm for it IF it means we'll have all the pieces to win it all. Otherwise, however, I believe using our first on a IOL is the better route for the longterm and it's cheaper in the short.

Maybe we can address our IOL through the draft and sign a good WR???

My fear is that Nick is going to put a band-aid on the OL. That might suffice for the regular season in the AFC South but it won't cut it in the postseason. I hope my fear is misguided.

It took Green and Mason hurting themselves to see any changes.
Scruggs is going to get seniority over any other rookie. And If Fisher makes the natural improvement, he stays at RT. Howard isn't going to go anywhere this year and embrace the LG.
Realistically, that leaves Mason's spot up for grabs if* they have the cojones to cut him. There will be enough coin and picks to draft a Donovan Jackson after signing a vet Guard...if they get rid of Mason. Have to see it to believe it.

Even if I don't know what I'm doing, I'm having fun with these mocks

I just threw this out there, I would draft Donovan Jackson if he's there at 1-26 because he's going to be a stud IMHO.

But if they were going to go the way I suggested in that post,

Notebook, Jenkins, Fries are all under 30 years old.

Depends on who they sign in FA, Draft . Who would you like them to sign in FA?

They are fun, although it's very unlikely to me that Donovan Jackson will still be available at 58.
