When is the last time you did a introspective analysis?

This is unhinged levels of narcissism. The type of narcissism that believes people good at coding and gambling on a speculative economy should run society

You only want to do this when the guy you supported is in power. Like if Trump was doing anything right, Dems would work with him and libs would praise him.

The problem is.....he's ass. And you wont admit it. And you'll either hand waive anything he does or you'll believe his lies. Mars isnt important right now.

And why is it that most economists thought Trump was bad for the economy? Why do yo hate expert opinion so much? What arrogance do you have that when people who know waaaay more than you or I say something is bad, you dont want to listen, why? I can even show you data that Republicans are generally worse for the economy too.

Also you sure you care about the economy? Havent seen you in any economic threads or tariff threads.....but you sure as hell are in those illegal immigrations threads, or dunking on AOC or Democratic party threads.

@Space Ghost has peak "engineer philosopher" vibes... The belief that technical knowledge is all that is required to understand How society functions. These vibes for most well adjusted engineering college students get out of their system by their senior year.

The ones with daddy or mommy issues never grow out of it.

Have you noticed how you make many assumptions with little evidence?

I have routinely stated Trump is trash. So far, his second term is much more favorable. I voted for Biden and I will say his administration will go down as one of the weakest administrations ever.
I stated months ago that whoever focuses on tech, space exploration, and AI would get my vote. The massive cuts is something I always wanted done, however I did not think it would happen. Cut deeper baby! And I fully support the expansion of the US (however that comes about) with Greenland.

As this is a Houston fans board, its not far fetched to believe I was raised in houston, specifically the Johnson Space Center area. Space has always been an interest to me. This has nothing to do with Trump or Musk. Am I going to support a clueless political party who has become the new 'get in the way of everything' or am I going to support individuals who are truly progressive. Trump is not a Republican nor is Musk. They simply hijacked a dead party thanks to the previous 'get in the way of everything' Republican party. Perhaps you miss the days of the Bushes, McConnels, Thurmans and all of the other boomers who need to retire from politics.

Fair enough, now we can have a new conversation then.

How? Biden wasnt perfect but Biden never actually had full support of congress. And the U.S economy did way better than most other countries economies(especially in the post covid era) under him. What cuts are you referring to, TAX CUTS(of course not lol)? Or maybe government agencies being destroyed like this??? Why is this a good thing? It isnt. There is no case for it. U.S expansion is also ridiculous, no other country wants to be apart o the U.S.

They are worse then them, at least those republicans believe in the rule of law, Trump and Musk do not. They are destroying the government and they will destroy the economy. They are acting like dictators, I cannot understand how you think this term is more favorable when all they have done is cut government agencies. THEY STOPPED CANCER RESEARCH for god's sake.

Do you even know where that money is going? All you have is Musk's word, thats literally it.

Tech, Space,AI all that is cool if its being implemented to help mankind, this is not.

It's all gamer like fantasy with him. Everything is from the perspective of sitting high and mighty on the couch pointing and judging things. Like critiquing the scenery on Pandora.

There's a reason why there's this throughline of fantasy with Trump supporters. Whether it be evangelical so-called Christians with their end of the world fantasy of demonic wars under the surface of pizza parlors, or Meta virtual reality headseat wearing mouthbreathers who think Elon is peak Alpha, and talk as though he already conquered Mars or something.... it's all fantasy with these people. Nothing is real. Nothing has consequences. It's all a game in their mind they have to make a reality FOR ME. Your fake reality has to be something I respect, and I pay a price for even though your fake reality has horrible real life consequences for everyone.

If you can't tell, I'm done giving a fck about these people. Spoiled entitled pricks with mommy issues, and are no longer connected to the real world.

You want a speculative economic tech bubble. That isn't the same thing as wanting our society to advance in engineering and science endeavors.

Throwing money at glorified salesmen (Andressen, Musk, Theil, Altman etc) is not going to advance society.

Only publicly funded and organized programs in science and engineering research are going to be motivated out of sincere intellectual curiosity.

There is a difference between throwing tax payer public money at executives(salesmen) that own private speculative tech company assets so they can maximize their wealth and clout on society vs

using public money to create a government program managed by career salaried experts that hire the best and most intellectually curious scientists and engineers.

One is going to be used to advanced private wealth creation and the other is going to be used to satisfy intellectual curiosity.

"I don’t believe those who went into this past election taking pride in the unemployment numbers understood that the near-record low unemployment figures — the figure was a mere 4.2 percent in November — counted homeless people doing occasional work as “employed.” But the implications are powerful. If you filter the statistic to include as unemployed people who can’t find anything but part-time work or who make a poverty wage (roughly $25,000), the percentage is actually 23.7 percent. In other words, nearly one of every four workers is functionally unemployed in America today — hardly something to celebrate."
that can't be. this has to be a Russian information operation

You seem to have become increasingly unhinged in your hate for Democrats. Harris's endorsement for eliminating taxes on tips came with some qualifications.

Harris endorses eliminating taxes on tips, touting policy first proposed by Trump | CNN Politics

    ...

The Harris campaign expounded on her endorsement of eliminating taxes on tips for hospitality and service workers, saying in a statement that she “would work with Congress” on a proposal that would set income limits and include measures to prevent fraud.

A Harris campaign official said her plan to eliminate taxes on tips would come alongside a push for Congress to raise the minimum wage.

“On Saturday, Vice President Harris said as president, she would push for the elimination of taxes on tips,” the official said in a statement. “The proposal would require legislation. As President, she would work with Congress to craft a proposal that comes with an income limit and with strict requirements to prevent hedge fund managers and lawyers from structuring their compensation in ways to try to take advantage of the policy.”

“Vice President Harris would push for the proposal alongside an increase in the minimum wage,” she continued.

Pretty awful headline but the article was good.

Yea economic metrics need to be better. But historically the economy has been better under Dems. LOL like....alot better. Just look right now, Trump hasnt dont ANYTHING to make the economy better. These tariffs are already making it worse.

Oh yea and btw the last 10 of the 11 recessions we've had...were ALL under Republicans.

When they share some tidbit about Democrats bragging about economic progress that doesn't really help the common American they are projecting their affinity to trdat politics like sports teams. They think we will be triggered from this news.

The idea that modern neo liberal media uses outdated economic numbers to measure the health of the economy in terms of how it affects the working class is something leftists have been screaming for more than a decade.

These people act like this is new news. I already knew this. You already knew this.

It doesn't make a difference if you sing it, chant it, make it rhyme, repeat it, yell it, cry it..doesn't matter if you get mad, use profanity, call names...you just make yourself and your cause look worse.

I would be more open to voting Democrat if they actually got serious about this country and stopped this goofy $hit, their number 1 priority is not America.... Its defeating Donald Trump and now Elon Musk... They are so out of touch and ridiculous, Democrats deserve this thou... They voted these loonies into office and high positions so they deserve to be embarrassed every time their elected officials go and humiliate themselves all for the sake of trying to go against a straight up gangsta in Trump....

Or maybe they voted against the 3 trillion dollars the GOP bill would add to the deficit.

Funny how all of a sudden that doesn't matter anymore.

You're so disconnected from reality. You're telling me we should have voted for the dumbest candidate to run in the general election because the newly elected party who is trying to cut everything is going to raise the deficit by 3 trillion. And the same party that ran the dumbest candidate are literally getting in the way of the people who are trying to trim the budget.

You are a NCP. You do not own a single thought in your head. You're proof free will doesn't exist
