I'm rooting for LeBron to get that 5th ring just to watch the meltdown from those who don't already believe he's GOAT. But this ain't it. It's really a desperation move for size.
Wood is a perfect example of numbers not telling the story. You look at this Rockets numbers and you would've thought that he was an up and coming star player or atleast a serviceable player. Turns out dude is just a selfish bum. This is exactly what Ime is trying to protect Cam from becoming. Whitmore has the same tendencies to be lazy and selfish but Ime is benching him and trying to mold him out of it. Thats what great coaches do! (cough Silas cough)
They are cutting Wood for him, a dude that wont play anyway. I think Lakers got better, they kept their pick and pick swap and Knecht and still get that lob threat and defensive presence they need at center. All Len does is dunk on offense, set screens and block shots. He cant move his feet and he doesnt have any range.
