He called Sengun's name almost every time down court! Lol

Which is why it's hard to play him in the 4th Qtr. What he gets on the offensive end, he gives up on the defensive end and if the other team is hitting 3s and we're playing for 2s......WE LOSE

He turned the ball over if I'm not mistaken. But if he's the allstar, shouldn't that come with the responsibility?

This if facts. He is targeted every time down court yet his fans point fingers elsewhere. Sengun's defense is atrocious

So the head coach flat out says they don't have a guy they can go to.

Front office says they're happy with the team and won't make changes.

    Riiiiiiight.

GM and coach are perfectly clear with each other there.

Ime wants a star and Stone says he’ll trade for one when it fits his criteria for a star (probably under 28 with multiple all-star selections).

Ime will complain but can’t really force Ime to do anything since the team is still ahead of schedule when it comes to the in season accomplishments so far.

I take it as both want a star. Other than the Nico trade, Fox is really the only go to guy that was traded. I would have liked Fox, but I think Stone is focused on bigger fish. The trades Stone saw as possible would prevent him, in his eyes, from going after the bigger fish in the offseason or later.

What Stone said makes sense to me even if I don't agree with it.

The gripe is how to go from mediocre trades to a blockbuster.......dude is older than Morey.

I'd say the way to do blockbuster trades is to have assets the teams that trade away stars want and not trade away those assets for lesser players.

The Rockets didn't have AD. Unless you are griping about not getting Fox, standing pat with the young players and FRPs is the best way to make a blockbuster trade. I think Stone is focused on Booker or better. I'd be more flexible, but I wouldn't have bid too much for Fox or Cam Johnson.

Keeping options open is better than overpaying or settling on players that just don't help as much as you need them to.

I’m positive Ant number would a take a dip in Ime “offense”. he already was frustrated in Minny earlier Thai season when the defense was double him but since Randle been down his numbers maybe gone back up. He needs spacing like most other stats. He wouldn’t get that here. . He’d still be a star here but I don’t think he would be as great and productive as he is in Minny. Ant is apart of a system. He isnt the system like Harden, Luka, and Lebron before age 36

Yes and no, sometimes a closer might not be a superstar.

An exceptional GM has to have an eye for that.

Jamal Crawford, Chauncey Billups, Rip Hamilton were very clutch.

Of course the timing should be right, CP3 to the Rockets was such a moment albeit injuries.

The Rockets are in the unique situation that a Booker deal could only get them 3rd Round and their flaws are pretty overwhelming.

Better way is to restructure that Offense and further solidify the Defense and then bring in players that fit.
