Underneath the nice stat lines: The new W's were getting blown the heck out by a terrible Bulls team until Curry had a miracle quarter and the Bulls folded like you would expect. It's only one game, but I don't think Jimmy cures their many ills.
There was plenty of complaining by Golden State fans that Schroder's playing style didn't fit with what the Warriors were used to doing on Offense. So Butler eventually proving to be a poor fit with the Warriors won't be a surprise to me.
Jimmy is a whole different breed and he’s fitting in really well. And they got this new Quentin Post dude that’s 7 feet tall and can hit 3’s. Absolute game changer.
Of course the Warriors have new life smh. We play them this week as well. Are we ever going to beat them?
The Sample Size is small. Golden State was off Sunday while Milwaukee is playing a Back to Back and without Giannis.
I don’t want Curry to win another championship but I enjoy watching him play since I play similarly like him.
I will wait to see how Jimmy and Golden State do against a fresher - more rested team. Milwaukee schedule. Sunday (Feb 2): Lost to Memphis at Home Monday (Feb 3): Lost to OKC on the Road Tuesday (Feb 4): Off Wednesday (Feb 5): Beat Charlotte on the Road Thursday (Feb 6): Off Friday (Feb 7): Lost to Atlanta on the Road Saturday (Feb 8): Off Sunday (Feb 9): Beat Philly at Home Monday (Feb 10): Lost to Golden State at Home

It’s wild how much more impact Butler has than Wiggins. Jimmy is such a good player, but people forget because of all the off-court drama. The way he controls the pace, gets to the line, and slows the game down is insane….. it’s like Curry got his exact opposite as a running mate. And this is really going to extend Curry’s years regardless that they are both in their late 30’s. I thought losing Wiggins was a big deal, but if everyone stays healthy, Butler might be an even bigger addition than Wiggins was a loss.
There never should have been any debate on if Butler was an upgrade over Wiggins. Butler is a legit impact player. Wiggins is a passive role player who consistently plays below his physical ability. That is the story of his career. He did find a comfort zone with the Warriors and raised his game a bit. If everyone stays healthy, Warriors could be a very tough out for a top 4 seed. Depends on the matchup.
Jimmy rubs off vibes and will probably play off of Curry which means he'll drain threes at a better clip.
