You are my hero ApachWarrior!!! That is one of the best posts I have ever read on this board. I am 100% with you on placing lapdogs RocketChamp and AstrosRules on ignore as they are pathetic and annoying shills.

Nobody persistently argues for anyone like they do, unless:
    1) They get paid to do so.
    2) Are family members protecting their own.
    3) Burner accounts of Stone himself.

If Durant can have a burner account....so could Stone

I’ll give him until the end of next season. That will make it six seasons on the job-enough time to evaluate his performance.

lol but i don't even really like stone, can you explain? i've never praised him (unless you're just trolling in which case fair enough). If he got fired tomorrow i wouldn't care one iota.

It's not that bad yet to fire stone, a timely rotation , a bit of alignment, with the correct pressure, patches as needed and wula...we can reach 60,000 Miles easily

    Here is stat for you:

    Atlanta Hawks 26-28
    Houston Rockets 33-20

Rockets beat the Cavs twice this year.

To me Stone and Udoka are different entities, sure, they work fine together because Stone defers well when he has to, didn't under Silas due to him not having any backbone....

A GM's job after drafting well is to ensure that the team can make the Playoffs (check I guess) and make a Playoff run and Championship run....(he did not make a significant trade in 2-3 years)

There are tons of different GMs ..... former video coordinator like Presti, a maths genius like Morey, former players like Marks or Elton Brand, former coach like Brad Stevens, a former Agent named Rob Pelinka or a former lawyer named Rafa Stone.

    • People that have been coaches, agents, players have better networks and connections to the players.....there is no doubt about that.
    • IMHO that is the exact reason why guys like Morey and Stone have to work extra harder.

    Chief Second Round Wampum

Stone- hoarder of the second rounders.

Still treating the Rockets as bottom of the barrel and dumping grounds
    for others for second rounders.

not enough time and data to judge firestone tbh. he needs to be given at least 15 years for us to be able to judge his whole stay.

I think that’s fair. He’s done nothing since taking over except historically awful Silas years and his one accomplishment in 5 years will be a 7 seed in the playoffs and a first round loss likely. No offseason moves and same results next year needs to get the lawyer out and a basketball mind in.

I guess we’ll all look like fools in 2030 when Stone’s built his Finals Team with a bunch of second rounders….
