OKC winning at least 1 ring is foregone conclusion, if Stone did a 9/10 rebuild Presti did a 15/10 rebuild. Its kinda ridiculous OKC has an MVP candidate, a big 3 of its own, a deep bench, they are all in their 20s and they still have a bajillion draft picks. It will probably be known as the best rebuild in NBA history.
I feel like the Thunder will either win the championship, or lose in the playoffs in either the first, second or conference finals round. I'd bet everything on one of those outcomes happening.
How is it that OKC's nemesis, the Dallas Mavericks, beat the Thunder 3 out of 4 times this year (all 3 wins without Luka)? OKC have some weaknesses that only the Mavericks know about?
Center play. OKC was running Isiah Joe and Bald Eagle at center. Lively and Gafford punished that ish.

The Mavs have premium size at Front and all their Front court players seem to shoot lights out in the OKC games. They don't do that as much against the Rockets
You'll be surprised where some of the most affluent relocate or have secondary residences to safe guard their fortune from taxes. OKC and Tennessee should be some of those destinations. I could see a hidden market emerge bringing in revenue out of nowhere with OKC in the Finals.
They are good but the way they are reffed gives them a big advantage. Shai and Jalen are allowed to push off with their forearm to get their shots and you can’t breathe on them.
They'll have to overcome the non-calls against the Lakers (maybe even the Warriors) if they meet them in the playoffs. But they are so overwhelming. So many Thunder players were taking turns smacking the Nuggets around today. And with Jokic having a bad game, they blew out a good team. Maybe they were hyped today because of the MVP race, but they look "special."
Yup the forearm shoulder Harden used to get called for all the time (offensive foul) they get away with to create space and because they have the rep of a very good defensive team they get away with a ton of swiping (fouls)
I don't understand why they get so much ref help. Small market, do people really care about shai? I don't see why they would. Makes no sense, and is super annoying.
