I like the thinking, but it wouldn't work. You are getting less than 100 innings from each of them. It leaves 10 pitchers on the roster and at least 4 of them in the rotation. If the other 4 SP averaged 5 ip, then you need 16 every 4 ( consecutive) games from your bullpen of 6. That is an average of over 100 ip from your bullpen guys. You have an exhausted bullpen by September.
Actually that really only applies to Lance. Javier started 7 games last year - his layoff is currently way less than 1 year and he is on a regular timetable. Garcia had a setback but last pitched May 1st 2023, so opening day is not much beyond a typical 1 1/2 yr recovery for TJS. If he does not have another setback I don't see an issue at all.
Garcia wants to be back in the first couple of months Javier wants to be back around the ASB Lance....lol
Dana Brown says the reports from Coaches and Medical Staff is All Poistive, Lance McCullers is in Great Shape.
When he lies he doesn't smile. He smiled meaning He spoke the Truth. He smiled about Lance McCullers Jr.
It's not spring until we see the yearly McCullers and Whitly throwing gas videos in some random pitching cage. With a Google eye emoji.
B Baseball is much better than the other leagues, because you get to see all the prospects that have been mentioned the previous year, but to each is own.
And the fan experience is wonderful if you have/take the time to walk back fields and take advantage of the access.
I agree with that too. Spring training (preseason) is much better in MLB, because you get introduced to guys that are in your system. So many fans will want to tune-in and see how X player is progressing. Because it’s fun to see how prospects will hit MLB pitching; or how minor league pitchers fare against bonafide MLB hitters. Crazy how pitchers and Catchers will be reporting Feb 13, and full squads report 5 days later. Houston Astros: Feb. 13, Feb. 18
No question. He's a great athlete. I don't know about his arm. If he could play right or center that would be great.
3B would work if Bregs doesn't resign. SS is Pena unless you think we trade him. Definitely need another pitcher.
