Amen is great. But he made costly end game turnovers in two consecutive games. Don't forget he's just a second year player. Lots of learning and growing for him.
To me it looks like they are purchasing a contract to be used in a trade. Having an empty roster spot lets them do that
We can't aggregate his salary to another trade, so it really does nothing for us besides get us an SRP.

Udoka said on Sunday that Adams' increased minutes lately were causing soreness and that the big man would be held out of one half of Houston's two remaining back-to-backs prior to the All-Star break. "Not so much the game but the next day is what's been concerning a little bit lately," Udoka said. "But like I said, when we kept him in the 12-15 minute range, it's pretty easy to play him on the back-to-backs. But once we increase those to 20-plus, it's gonna be a little bit more sore the next day. So that's the plan going forward." •Eason has not played in back-to-back games since he returned from a month-long injury absence on Jan. 16, and Udoka said that will continue to be the case for the foreseeable future. Eason is not dealing with any additional pain in his surgically repaired left leg, Udoka said, but the Rockets prefer to take a cautious, day-by-day approach to ensure that he does not have to miss extended time again.
It's ok, these mistakes are the building blocks of these stars. He has to learn how easy it us to turn it over and give the game away. that one hurt. I think he'll grow from it.
he has trouble inbounding the ball now. he gets flashback whenever he tries to inbound the ball the past 2 games.
it is normal. We are ahead of schedule and can't expect amen, green, sengun play their best all the time. We lost depth as well. I am hoping for decent playoff exposure and continuous player development.
Alright, I've seen enough to know that an out of shape Luka and geriatric Lebron will carry the Lakers to a top 2 offense the rest of the way. I really hope we don't see them or the Warriors in the playoffs, we will not get any calls against those teams even if we have homecourt. There's just too much incentive for the NBA to influence the game there. We have no big stars and they have the most marketable ones in the world. They should erect a Nico Harrison statue at Staples for this.
