    I actually enjoyed the halftime show, thought it was pretty coherent and well-put-together. I'd agree Lamar's music isn't the best "get hyped" kind of music, that's not really what he's going for, but this did feel more like it had an artistic vision and less like a circus act than most of the pop/hip hop shows end up coming across as.

    All of that said, I agree it's pretty hard to beat a really kickass live rock band with real instruments and fantastic showmanship.
