Half time shows need Live band with actual instruments like his SNL performance some years ago, but in general I don’t think think hip hop/rap is a good live concert. They all feel so flat and lifeless. it’s like turning the slam dunk contest from pure performance to show stunts. Props and all this extra **** but no real performance
Kendrick Lamar is not a halftime show type rapper. We are not talking about the West Coast rap show from a few years ago. Thing is, Drake would be a better Halftime show performer because of his delivery and type of songs.
even if you hate the super bowl halftime show. it's one of the last collective cultural things we have in the USA now that live tv is not a real thing anymore. It was a good performance.
This gotta be the worst Super Bowl half time show I’ve seen in my lifetime. Zero energy. Not fun at all. We need people that’ll have a fun and exciting performance. I want people like Eminem, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Jason Derulo, One Republic, 50 Cent, Rihanna, Justin Bieber and anyone else y’all can think of.
Sure the performance, or should I say, execution of what they wanted to do, was good. However, that was boring a hell.
