Yea. Finally finished a game and got a desperate win. Thank God cause those first 3 qtrs were like watching a youth team play

I mean no it's not 100% but it has been proven that playing back to backs increases injury risk. I am sure that risk goes up for larger players and I am sure that risks goes up even higher with less than 24 hours of rest.

Silver and the NBA really should be addressing b2bs, no reason for it, extend the season 20 days if you have to, just get rid of them. It'll be better for the game, more quality games, less risk of injuries for players, and there is no money loss.

We'd just be starting the Finals a few weeks later. Ah well.

 

Yeah tbh I dont understand they even plan these games ahead of time but you still end up with crap like 4 games in 5 days or whatever lol

 

He looked tremendous on his dunk and block, he looked quick and explosive all night from my pov.

Yes I watch the games and I didn’t see an injury impeding him physically tonight.

 

Why happened to Sengun? He was grabbing his hip area and didn’t find back.

Also that nut fondling of Jeff Green should have been an ejection. The replay on the Jumbotron was plenty enough to support that. Oh well, finally a win!

I’m super confused about the point you’re trying to make, haha. Are you saying Jalen needs to be the focal point with Sengun and FVV out? I agree with that, but again, he’s pretty clearly playing hurt.

 

I sure hope that Sengun will recover quickly from a back spasm. If it's something more serious, then we are going to be in very serious trouble.

 

looking at the boxscore, and Reed Sheppard was trash yet again

 

May need to sign another 5 because Stevo can't play on B2B and Jock can be a matchup nightmare + is not consistent on the boards, which Rockets are so dependent on for success. Rob Williams acquisition would look really nice right now.

 

Raptors played a defense to get the ball out of Green's hands. Also at the first half of the game Green was doing a poor job passing out of those blitzes because he'd pass out too late allowing defenses to recover from their blitz and Ime probably got frustrated and took the ball out of Green's hands for long stretches in the third.

Most frustrating aspect of Green's offensive game for me now is he sometimes tries to attack the double too often and realizes he can't and then passes out when it's too late and the defenses recovered and we just wasted 18 seconds on the shot clock.

Green just needs to immediately play the advantage and pass out as soon as he sees the help defender come to blitz. Trust your teammates to play the 4 vs 3 advantage.

 

Lower Back Spasms are a nightmare. For the first 2 days you can't even get up to go to the bathroom or sit down. Life is over. Am I going to need a wheel chair forever?.
By day 5: It's like nothing happened.

Agreed. I see no evidence that Jalen is hurt. I see a lot of evidence that Jalen is much better when he has some other competent offensive players on the floor with him. Without Sengun and FVV, we are completely lost on offense. Jalen is talented but isn't good enough to carry the team.

Rafael Stone should be nervous right now. Aaron Holiday and Reed don't look like NBA rotation players. Either Lonzo Ball or Jose Alvarado would have made us more competitive over the past 7 games. We still can't shoot. I don't understand why we needed more data to confirm what we already knew.
