Good fight I guess. Sucks though. This was trending to a loss you could sit your guys early for the B2B. Instead you fight like hell but still lose. Tough.

You don't think hes hasnt been doing that? The whole defense changed in literally one season under Udoka, we went from 28th to top 5. Jalen Green has been here 4 years, you think he is going to change who he is?

Our players have limitations that Udoka has no control over whatsoever. Amen can't shoot so the Mavs back the paint and leave him wide open. Sengun can't beat athletic bigs so he is literally useless on offense. Jalen Green either plays really well or is bricking everything including layups. Not to mention hurt Jabari and FVV are the better defenders and shooters on this team. Stop blaming the coach for things he has no control over.

 

The best news is that since the starters played so many minutes today, they'll be exhausted tomorrow so we can push this losing streak to 7

Just goes to show you how quick things change in the West, we been through this before. Thankfully, the Rockets had played so well (which everyone seems to be completely forgetting) up until this point that they go down to 5th where otherwise this 6 game losing streak would have knocked them out of the playoffs to 11th or something.

Why would we do that for a 37 year KD who only gives us 2-3 years. Our entire core is under the age of 23, adding Durant makes no sense whatsoever in their development. Letting the core develop then adding a younger star with our wealth of assets gives us a 5-10 year window (Booker makes sense but Suns wouldnt talk about it)

 

Green needs to go. No more defending this up and down bullsh*t. He can't be trusted to close games out so whats the point.

Dillon and Tari just aren't starter level players right now. Sengun needs to stop these slow starts. Jalen has to close the game better. Idk where the rest of the bench was (outside of Adams).

I'm seeing the same things, hopefully Jalen comes out of the other side of this a much better player. A lot of the top tier scoring guards played pg at least part time in their early years to terrible results. I remember Lavine and Booker specifically logging heavy minutes at pg while being awful at it.

I see a lot of head scratching stuff from him but then I think he's still young and he a 4 year run of terrible basketball situations; Covid, the g-league ignite and 2 years of Silas. Overall I'm higher on Jalen than I was at the start of the season.
