Basically this. AD is too good defensively to play bully ball consistently against. Mix up the attack and take what he's giving you.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Toronto wins. They've played better lately, they'll be rested, and the Rockets have a quick turnaround with the 1 PM start.

Not to mention this team just dropped two games to the Nets.

Dream is god mode. Sengun doesn’t understand he has to change his game. Could be the coaches plays or himself just not understanding. I don’t care about this he’s young talk, u can either play or you can’t.

 

Most of the Rockets struggles offensively start with poor execution of half court offense. Dump to Sengun .. even if guarded by AD. Sengun is a great facilitator .. best in the league at C behind Jokic

Been saying this but we don't ever run that screen and role that Denver does. Only FVV is able to run that play for some reason, I dont know why Jalen doesn't do it. Sengun doesn't get doubled when guarded by Davis so our offense just dies completely.

 

Dude if poor shooting FVV is answer we are screwed. At least he's not a defensive liability.

 

I'm surprised we didn't try and add a true PG at the deadline. We are really struggling without FVV. We need to figure something out or we're gonna get dominated in the playoffs regardless of our seed.

 

People are too emotionally invested into homegrown players. Like I knew it was bad when they said we had a core 7.

 

His biggest mistake was extending Sengun. Now we are stuck with the worst contract in the league for the next 5 years.

 

Its not just the shooting tho, FVV averages the most assists on this team. He gets us open shots with passing and screen/roles. Jalen averages like 3 assists per game and Amen has a hard time in the half court because he can't shoot.
