Why do I trust Jalen more to show up in a playoff series than I do Sengun?

 

We should protest Sengun being an all star. absolute joke.

 

Rockets will have to upgrade Dillon Brooks, Jalen Green, perhaps let go of Cam Whitmore, and even gauge the market for Alperen Sengun (if he continues his finishing woes at this rate)

 

Back up center is a priority. Sengun is getting punished by street clothes

Let's be fair to Sengun. If your teammates cannot be a threat from the outside, then the opposition is just going to pack the paint.

The Rockets bread and butter this season has been a steady dose of PNR action with Sengun, being very physical and creating turnovers for fast break points, and crashing the offensive glass. So far this game they've failed to do all three and then they aren't hitting shots.

Sengun does have limitations and with Dallas lengthy defenders, it is going to be tough for him to score. Anthony is no slouch.

maybe a starting C should be a priority. How serious can someone take this team if ALPI out of all people is our back line defense? He better learn how to shoot because he’s a PF.

He's just gotta learn how to approach a player like Davis, read him better. He's just trying to approach him like he's some regular 6'9 mid center he can bully around, that's not going to work. It's why Davis is barking and shouting because he probably feels disrespected right now with how Sengun is attacking him.

Needs to use the midrange a lot more, more floaters, he's not just going to spin on Davis (as we just saw) or pump fake him, Davis is not going to fall for any of that.
