I'm not the biggest hockey fan in the world, but I do love the playoffs!

Who do y'all predict to hoist Lord Stanley's Cup come late June?

My pick...the St. Louis Blues (but go Sharks tonight).

I want the Red Wings to win it all, but the Blues sure seem to be the best for the money.

I would like the Avs to win b/c of Ray B.

I would not like the flyers to win b/c I am a Hurricanes fan and that cry baby Preamue(sp?) plays for the flyers.

Your absolutely right RM95, the NHL Play-offs are just an unbelievable time of year, there is nothing quite like the intensity of the games, especially the 1st round.

But about your prediction, as good as St. Louis did in the regular season, especially with injuries, teams with the best regular season records of late have not won the cup. Plus, Detroit, Colorado and Dallas all have more play-off experience and unlike the Blues, have actually made it past the 2nd round. I'm not counting the Blues out, but I don't predict them to make too much noise, especially with Demitra gone. I hope Colorado wins it all because no one in profession sports deserves a ring more than Raymond Bourque, but I think Detroit is just too strong.

As for the East, I think the Sabres led by the Dominator will be the sleeper and Jersey will also be up there.

Man, this has got to be the BEST time of year!
