At worst, he is depth for a playoff run. Simmons represents a huge challenge for smaller PGs. He also helps nullify taller PGs. Using him against SGA will be a nice option in a 7 game series.
Reminds me of when Jimmy Butler was supposed to meet with the Rockets, then decided to sign with the Heat without following through on that meeting. I'm hoping the Warriors spiral downward now that he's there; two birds with one stone.
the same as usual. top level defense. 12-15 assists per 40. 12-15 points per 40. 12-15 rebounds per 40. he's a good player at the correct price.
Cavs and Clips are already listed as favorites, so we are likely not pursuing hard. Which is a good thing.
A little bit Sengun-esque honestly! Obviously absolutely no shooting outside the paint versus Alpi kinda-sorta having that in his game with the flamingos and push shots and the occasional low-percentage 3Per. Not as crafty or aggressive as Alpi either. But similar in that he gets into the paint and either scores on a dribble drive, quick post move, or more often, kicks it out/lobs it up. Their athleticism is probably roughly comparable these days, after all of Ben's back problems.
Much better perimeter defender + playmaker than Alp but worse in every other area except maybe transition scoring.
Windhorst and Adam Spolane ducking right now. Stone not pursuing/signing a single buyout would be painful. And Chris Haynes was so certain.
Bernie Lee is not to be trusted. He is also Jimmy Butler’s agent, and he went on Twitter to refute Shams Charania’s report that Butler requested a trade from the Heat.
