Refreshing to have a coach not blow smoke up our asses. Ime doesn’t care about how young the team is he wants to win. He wants a real star and not a maybe soon to be one.

I hope this adds pressure to the FO this summer. The time to strike has come

Hopefully he has sorted out a list of younger players he is willing to part with.....

Typically at this point in the season when dead legs are resulting in short jumpers, good teams put their heads down, go into playoff mode and go to the line as much as possible. However in our case they didn't fix the shooting situation so at a time when we're trying to force ourselves to the line, we're running into way more players than is typical in the NBA and it's resulting in more TO's rather than more FTA's.

Amen WANTS to attack but sometimes he looks at the paint and it's a disaster and you understand. Same with Green. It's suffocating Sengun's interior game. We just need to get the opponent TF out of the paint. It's absurd to be playing with this handicap of tanking-level spacing.

I like the fact that we are in a position of changing things. Coach is asking for any player that is willing or able to become our go to player. If said player was to accept the role the team will follow him. Coach is looking for an identity from this group of talent. I think he thought a trade was coming. His actions show this because he has squeezed everything out of this team (less Reed) to have the best possible record at the trade deadline like it was the end of the season. We have peaked at Midseason. Then nothing happened so here we are. Spent and injured. He has a team of talent without direction / Identity. Most are growing but have no roles to grow into because we don’t know who we are as a team, yet.

Ime’s not lying. Amen is the closest thing to a franchise player on the team but without a consistent outside shot it will be difficult for him to be the type of closer at the end of games the team needs right now. Teams just need to pack the paint or throw a zone at the team and it’s an offensive struggle. It’s hard for me to criticize Ime too much because I think he’s got as much as he can out of this roster on top of players in and out with injuries.

Would we lose a lot if we're trading Sengun next off season?

I honestly wouldn’t mind it, I’d rather have a cheap defensive minded lob threat center at this point. Your Center probably shouldn’t be one of your highest paid players unless it’s Jokic. I can’t help but to get Enes Kamter vibes from him now. He was my favorite player in league in his rookie season but he changed his game so much, I don’t like it.

If that's the solution, we áre Fd. I get the principal of the idea though.

We don’t have closers. We have guys who are hot one game and think they can jack up a few threes at the end of games.

Amen is the only one who can one day get there?

    Sengun and Jalen will not.

because he creates open shots for our team. Instead of chucking up threes let's get some better looks.

I'm not sure I'm dogging on Ime as much as CF typically does. I blame the FO more and also the players themselves for wilting away in these games.

People complain about Fred taking shots at the end, but I think we see why he takes shots. No one else on the team is a better option. And, Fred has hit on some of those shots. If we had a clutch shot maker, I think Fred would get them the ball.

In the 4th Qtr, it's about who wants it. The coach can call timeouts or plays but ultimately it's up to the players and like he said, we just don’t have that player.

Sengun only plays on one side of the court, he runs out of gas, and don’t play defense. He should have been the FRESHEST player out there, coming off missing 3 games.

Jalen is frustrating. He's the only starter who has not missed a game, so I'm not sure if it's wear and tear or just the inability to produce when it's needed. His numbers looked good last night 27/6/5 but he didn't show up in the 3rd nor the 4th.

I still say for him to become that player, he needs another 15 - 20 lbs. Sengun, I HONESTLY, TRULY just do not know! I want to root for the guy but I keep getting Sabonis vibes, one end of the court player!

Problem is you know Fred will 99% shoot a three because he can’t drive and is a midget.

We need a superstar and by trading him we can get one. It's not that bad if we find the right deal.

That is a problem, but as I said, we don’t have any better options at this time. However, I am hopeful that one of our young guys may become a go to guy. I think this time without Fred can actually be beneficial. The Rockets are learning things about themselves, and learning where they need to improve. I’m starting to think that Cam or Jalen could become our go to guy. They aren’t there yet, but things can change.

I'm not the biggest fan of Fox, but maybe he should have expressed these feelings to Felicia so that she could work a trade.
Spurs got him for nothing and Houston was on his list.
Eventually I would have grown to like Fox like many of the threads
