After his spin dunk on gobert he had the ball one play where he found a wide open Jalen who missed. Then he didn't even touch the ball so how do you expect him to score more?

This is right before the Wolves went on that Run with Edwards hitting those threes which essentially put the game away.


There's three offensive rebounds in there for the Wolves. Maybe if he wouldve grabbed a board he could have gotten another shot or two.

But really it wouldn't have mattered. Alpi's two's weren't going to match Ant's threes anyways.

When the other team has a guy hitting shots like Ant hit at the end of a close game, unless we are already up by a sizeable amount and have a cushion, we don't have anyone that can match them point for point.

Do you really want a weak, mopey ass coach saying:

• I gotta do better, I didn’t put them in the best position to win
• I didn’t call timeouts at the right time
• My rotations were horrible
• I didn’t challenge any bs calls
• I didn’t draw up a single effective play at any point in the game
• I’m either going to resign or kill myself

I don’t want a self deprecating coach. Ime is the best coach we could have ever hoped to get.
If not him, who?

Coaching is important but without star talent that close in crunch time what are you going to do, especially with injured players.

 

I love Ime as coach + culture setter but I hate watching his interviews after loses. He's not at his best.
