It’s clear the Rockets don’t care. I had higher expectations of the billionaire Fertitta. Rockets are 1.5 games out of being the 7th seed and everybody else improved. It would be funny/sad if we drop down to the play-in or even out of the playoffs. Starting tonight we should play Reed and Cam 30 minutes a game and at least get those guys ready for next season. Quit the fake mirage of acting like we are a contender.
Didn't the billionaire just pay 8M to get two 2nd rounders? Sure, get mad all you like, but Vucevic and Cam Johnson didn't even get traded.... What was the "biG huge deal" that was turned down? As of right now we lack a 1A, so cannot be a contender. Nobody offered us one, and trading good assets for a 2nd or 3rd option is bad business. Go to the playoffs. Play the young guys. See how they thrive Invest in them or combine and upgrade

A few years ago everyone complained about Fertita using draft capital to save money via trades. Now he is making the opposite: he is paying millions to players that will not play, to have draft capital to improve the future, and people still complain?
As potential trade filler yeah Marjon might be worth a tire kick but from his angle we have to be amongst the worst situations as a team with ridiculously redundant wing depth.
Seriously. Dude is a joke. This team has obvious holes that could have been fixed by giving up useless 2nd rounders but dude is scared to do anything that can be evaluated right away. It's why the clown keeps preaching about patience, young core and is obsessed with draft picks. Dude literally shows up for the draft and doesn't do **** for the other 11 months. He's so lucky to be working in a city that doesn't give two ***** about the basketball team and casual fans think he's doing a good job. This team is going nowhere with dude.
