Windhorst: Houston, Cleveland possible Ben Simmons locations after buyout

If he had dunked this ball, where would his career be today? This guy was a Rookie of the Year and three-time All-Star. It's crazy that he's only 28 and is still out there like a ghost of a player whose stardom died years ago.

 

Back injuries too.

 

He’d have been fine if his teammate and coach had been more supportive. Simmons is mentally fragile and the two people who should have been most aware of that went to the media and essentially blamed him for the loss.

But his back issues seem legit and would have derailed him regardless.

 

Will the Rockets ever have a mid-season signing to the team as good as Eddie Johnson? RIP Greg Gumbel. RIP Steve "Snapper" Jones.

 

Absolutely not. The guy has made a career of being ultra talented but hating basketball. He's a cancer and he needs to stay with the loser teams.
