Okay, yes... Confederate Memorial Day, Robert E. Lee Day, and Confederate History Month are white-only. I'll rephrase to say that generally, it's socially acceptable for every culture and ethnicity to create groups and celebrate their heritage, except whites.
I get exactly what you are saying and I agree but a white heritage holiday type thing is weird. Not weird because it would be tone deaf to what other races have gone through, but weird because whites come from so many different places and cultures. What would we be celebrating? Just being white? I dunno.

Creating groups I would say yes. Every time I see a racially exclusive organization I cringe. Celebrating heritage? Not so much. We celebrate Anglo holidays, people, and institutions all the time. The part where it becomes odious is when that celebration becomes more about exclusion or exception.
