    Clippers (Harden, …and it’s LA)
Cavs (Darius, Donovan, Ty Jerome but a chance to play on good team)
    Rockets

Short handed Rockets scrambling for buyout treasures is not the look of a serious championship contender. Stone can't take the surplus of picks with him if he keeps fumbling down the standings.

Interesting. Which team Simmons choses would be great indication of his current mindset. Now I'm slightly curious just from psychological standpoint.

Unless he built another one, the one he'd been trying to sell for the past 3 or 4 years was sold last year and he took a bath on the sale price. Maybe he has another one there - not sure. But most of these guys have multiple properties.

Reed not getting playoff minutes, let's be realistic about this.

Buyouts are basically free. He'll probably suck but it's worth a shot.

Defensively, our team has Amen, Tari, Dillon and Tate. Also a wing Whitmore where he has size over opposing guards. I love defense as much as the next guy, but we should try to plug the other holes (offensively).

If people feel we need more defense, at least go for variety. Go for an Alvarado type, if you believe Aaron is lacking, or if a tall tree, like a Steve Adams / brute defensive type.

What Simmons brings defensively, our team not only has already, but better. I'm telling you, that back injury limits what he can do. The Ben of old is not the Ben today. If he was that ace defender, Nets would be keeping him.

I agree with plugging other holes but Rockets have struggled defensively in 2025, going into 2 straight months now.

Didn't want him 3 years ago. Don't want now. Not a winning player.

Dude, this team was never a serious contender. They are just ahead of schedule

Wait, isn’t KPJ on the Clippers? When did he bring his allstar talent to Bucks?

Agree, immaturity, offense falling to pieces when defensive pressure turns up, failure to execute in late game situations, does not equal playoff success.

I don't think a single player would have solved that/pushed us over the edge. Team needs more time, then we can start making moves. Boring, but right call.
