Don’t forget about Jabari Smith Jr. He will be a valuable bench addition in the second half of the season.
"If Lakers only gave up AD and a 1st rounder for Luka, here's Reed, Jabari, and Jock (PHX Fan Favorite), and a 2nd for an old and frail KD. Take it or leave it"
Bullet dodged at the reported asking price. Trading a hoard of young players and picks for old man Jenkins is taking the legs out from this team before it could even run.
Nothing personal against KD. But I really enjoyed seeing his Nets team crumble, and now hopefully his Suns team the same.
KD will remain a Sun this year. Looks like we will get him when he becomes a “red giant” or finally a “white dwarf”
When being aggressive for Kevin Durant, it isn't aggressive if you inquire after dealing your best asset who was too good to even be an asset.
Well, you're wrong about one thing: Malone and Kareem were not falling off for years. So I'm guessing that you never watched them play—which is understandable. But you also didn't even look at their bball reference pages? Malone has been intentionally and appropriately put aside because he's a really shitty person. But on the court he was an awesome old man force. That's why he was 4th and 7th for MVP voting age 36 and 37. And Kareem was getting MVP votes at age 38. They are the exceptions that I was pointing out at that link. Did you go to that link or just start yapping without checking your own facts? As for trades, yes, your Butler for nobody and no prospects and no picks deal would be amazing and I'm all for it. How about Brooks and Stevens and some 2nd rounders? Yup, I'm in. And maybe I'm just out of date with the KD proposals. Last time I looked at this thread was maybe a month ago and there were still moronic suggestions of trading Amen in a package for KD, when Amen straight up for KD would be a terrible trade for the Rockets. And there were also tons of suggestions that Shepp should be tossed into trades as a bonus piece instead of the Rockets valuing him as the sensational prospect that he is. I assume the people who don't agree have decided to judge him on 400 minutes played at the end of quarters while he's learning a new position. I presume you're not one of the people who absurdly compared a first time PG to Price, one of the craftiest and most highly skilled PGs of his generation, who had nothing near the defensive athleticism that Shepp does. But yeah, if you are for FVV for KD and Butler for nobody, then you and I have no disagreements here.
