I wanted Rob Williams III or a rotation-worthy point guard who could shoot. But I’m not frustrated with the lack of action like previous trade deadlines.
Cameron Johnson, Collin Sexton or Malcolm Brogdon. The Rockets needed shooting and a quality backup for VanVleet more than anything.
Cam Johnson to a certain extent or a 3/D backup PG who would have been an upgrade to Aaron Holiday. I wasn't interested in KD or Jimmy Butler. I would have been fairly happy with Fox.
Half the people on here are ready to throw most of our youngsters and draft assets at aging superstars or non-needle movers. Stone is doing the right thing by holding steady.
Idk timelord, capella, shroder, McDermott, etc. We need a real backup point guard and a sharp shooter. It would be nice to have a rim running defensive center. I think there are people available for a first round pick but we are in hoard mode for the potential of a star shaking loose. I think stone seems like he is afraid to trade and get clowned like Nico in the media.
....not Doncic. I'm so glad to be out of the James Harden business - whomever has Doncic is in the 2.0 version of Harden. Great individual player but being at the mercy of a single frustrating player was not a pleasant experience I'm willing to relive. For what it's worth - I'm enjoying having a real "team" for once in a long while.
Without knowing the price of the players who didn't move you can't answer. For the players that did move only Luka would have been worth it but we didn't have AD. The rest of them... too expensive for my tastes.
I’m in the Booker or bust camp. Rob Williams III wolds have been an achievable move I’d have been happy with. i think the team did the right thing. They will have more flexibility this offseason.
really wanted flagg and if the suns miss the playoffs and the ping pong balls fall right stone will have won the trade deadline think about it
We need a PG and needed another center. Idk if Cody Zeller is better than Landale at the moment but no PG or shooter to add to our roster seems like a miss. Maybe buyout candidates will help with our needs and ride with what we got and try for the off-season.
Fox, and it wouldn't have taken much from us since Chicago would have given them the player they wanted in LaVine.
1. Cameron Johnson 2. Fox 3. Durant (though I didn't think Phoenix would accept reality). 4. Time Lord for SRPs I'm not as big on a backup PG unless FVV injury is really bad. I think the minutes without FVV are important to give some time to see how players do without FVV even though I think the FVV-Amen minutes are more important.
De'andre Hunter, Durant if only 1 first round pick, Robert Williams III for when Adams can't play. We don't need a backup point guard, let Reed play and develop. Bringing in Ben Simmons or anyone else will only stunt his development, dude looked good vs Brookyln.
