Jock can be banked for a trade in the offseason. Likely Jeff Green wasn’t worth a 2nd. If Steveo plays well the rest of the season that would be great but I probably would have rather recouped some value if he’s not getting extended.

I’m glad we got two 2nd rounders out of the deadline, but was hoping for some improvement on the margins. Oh well.

 

This is the 5th year of Stone's tenure and the rebuild. It's the same timeframe for when OKC started tanking after jettisoning CP3. As well as when the Magic started tanking by trading away Vucivic and Gordon. As well as the timeframe from when the Rockets lost Yao and T-Mac to the time they rebuilt with Harden and Dwight. GMs who don't suck generally get their teams on track by year 5.

 

They should have retained Springer.There's no need for Zeller on the Rockets.
