    Sounds made-up. Of course, I'm speaking from complete ignorance, but it just sounds like a caption-game story to accompany the photo.

    but how many of them or NBA players would get a chance to go there with the whole team and the whole process that includes staying in those top hotels, getting all those attetions(don't forget, it's the first NBA game in China) and feeling the bond connection to each other. I am sure that's life time experience even to them who have tons of money to spend.

    It's probably illegal. Just think if each tourist keeps a piece of that wall as souvenir. It won't be so great after a while.

    I also think because the stark differences in Asian (and African) cultures stand out more than say, Europe, that Americans tend to go with something a little more like home.

    I think a good amount of American college graduates have either spent a a semester studying in Paris or London or have gone on a EuroTrip...

    What they don't realize is that the touristy parts of the Wall were actually rebuilt in the modern era (within last few decades). Not that the location is not authentic or anything, but the original walls in many parts have given way to the elements, theft, etc.
