Lakers going all in to win now before LeBron riding to the sunset.

Eh, he's an okay center that is often hurt.

I think Charlotte won the trade, Dalton has some serious potential.

Also they got picks out of it.

But great trade for LAL - kept all their long defenders and shipped out no-defence scorers.

They could be a pretty tough match up pretty quickly if they gel

Not really, but they had to trade for a C before the deadline to fill the massive hole because Jaxson Hayes was the best C left on their roster.

If Mark Williams misses a bunch of games (which is quite possible), this trade will be a flaming disaster for the Lakers.

Mark Williams has the longest wingspan in the league. Yes, even longer than Wemby. He gets hurt a lot but if he's healthy, the Lakers are definitely championship level now.

Knecht is older at 23 than our younger players 22 and younger.

It's obviously a gamble. They are trading the future to fill a present hole. It could work if Williams stays healthy. LeBron has a 2-season window to win another chip.

The 2031 pick could turn out to be huge.

Yeah, but considering his injury history, would you consider trading Eason for Knecht? One 17th overall pick for another. They are the same age but we kick the can down the road as far as an extension goes. Sure we lose out on Tari’s defense but we gain shooting which we desperately need.

Lakers will continue to get stars around Luka once Lebron goes. 2031 pick won’t be anything.

I wouldn’t. And I like Knect. And I’m worried about Tari’s injuries. But Tari definitely has a much higher overall ceiling potential and we’re not quite there yet where we should feel comfortable giving that away.

    Holy ****! Not MARK WILLIAMS?

I'll admit I have no idea who the hell he is.
