I join everyone else on this board in celebration of the euphoria of today’s acquisition of Jaden Springer. Question is was it enough to springboard us into this or next year’s Finals? He brings championship pedigree and experience, along with a career 82% free throw percentage and adds 1.2 ppg to our offense (which could use the help). Hope has finally arrived and his name is Jayden Springer!
I think Stone and Udoka realize this is still a young inexperienced roster and we aren’t ready for a championship run year. This will be like last year for OKC where we make a run to get experience but fall short. No reason to trade assets away for an aging star when we could go for Booker or Ant in the offseason especially because we can’t trade green. Honestly I love seeing Reed play with confidence and finally show signs of life.
I hope we trade for one of either Zion/Booker/Ant this offseason. Add that to improvements from our young talent, an offensive minded assistant coach and this team is top 3 in the league.
He’s averaged 5 ppg his last 5 games, so it’s safe to say we would have won last night if we could have just made this trade 2 days ago….been a rough stretch for us!
FYI…..Rockets, as per every year with Stone at the deadline, are not making any notable trades. Holding those picks as everyone else around us improves.
How about we wait until after the deadline. And then we will have a better idea and can assess approximately.
Springer is a guard, likely vying for Sheppard's and Holiday's minutes.....a marginal NBA player... I doubt anyone should be concerned about him. I guess you are being sarcastic and satirical.
