While I'd agree with you, that there is no longer any shared loyalty within the FO/Players... it would be stupid of Pat to circulate these rumors (if they truly are just that) because it would highly diminish any value that Jimmy may have had left from his original request for a trade. Basically, there is nothing really to gain from Miami's end but pedaling out 'Fake News' regarding their star player that already wants out.

No one will truly know what the circumstances are until way further down the line but this is going to get messy and I don't see JImmy being traded anywhere besides a team in desperation, like PHX.

We got John Wall cuz we exchanged him for WB. You are saying Chicago will absorb Beal's contract just for kicks. They wont take on a max contract with a no trade clause for no reason.

Look at it from Chicago POV if they want to be competitive they can sign somebody in free agency now that they got rid of Lavine's salary. Beal isnt even a good player thats why Suns are trying to dump him and you think Chicago will get him for no reason? lol

 

Who's going to be available in FA? Not for any reason... there was a reason Beal got that deal the 1st time (he fell off BIGLY)...

But there happens to be a guy working in Chicago who may think he knows more about Beal that many other coaches.

Once again, I just used Chi as an example (i also mentioned BRK) PLUS CHI did actually say they were OK / amenable to acquiring Beal before. Possibly all those picks PHX acquired could further entice them.

I think it's actually a pretty decent deal for Miami considering the situation they were in. They got a really good player in Wiggins plus two rotation players and a FRP. I figured he'd end up getting traded for SRPs and filler honestly.

 

I don’t think that’s the case at all. Wiggins is a really solid replacement who is cheaper and younger, and the Heat get other assets.

 

That would be impossible, but Stone has been a strong A+ so far. Fox trade was great for us, Luka trade was AMAZING for us, the Butler trade is good. Just a fantastic week.

 

Suns are going to suck, so this is great for our pick.
