My point is about players making plays. Again you can coach your heart out at the end of the day you put your trust in them to execute. Amen had an opportunity to win the game much like the Rockets last 4 games. Didn’t do it. Short.

 

Read the tone and word choice. Also the lack of accountability for the players including Sengun while blaming and demonizing the coach who btw helped bring us 32 wins.

 

Players also helped with those 32 wins. Both players and coaches are not beyond reproach or acclaim.

If Sengun who missed 6 FT’s or Sheppard who missed a wide open corner 3 and wide open 8 ft jumpshot in the paint against the Knicks or Amen who made an errant pass last night aren’t held accountable to their performances then certainly Udoka shouldn’t be held accountable for his coaching performance.

 

They should ALL be held accountable. The Rockets win and lose as a team.

Amen can't call a timeout if a pass isn't there! How is he supposed to know that the inbounder is responsible for that? Obviously he's going to throw it to a wide open Net for a game winning shot. Duh.
