Never would have considered Zion prior to last season but Udoka has opened my mind to the possibilities. Zion play style fits Udoka system almost perfectly + if there is one coach who could help fix Zion effort rep, it's Udoka. Zion is the closest thing in NBA to young Lebron 2.0.
Agree on injury prone + off court issues but the possibility of harnessing his ridiculous talent under Udoka is tantalizing.
There are no guarantees but there are levels of risk. We shouldn't treat all scenarios equally. A player under contract for several years just means there's less risk of losing them to free agency right away. Having Booker under contract for several years helps even if he's unhappy because he'd still have good value on the trade market. What if KD is unhappy next year and requests a trade? I doubt we'd be able to flip KD for much when he's 37 and expiring.
Why would u trade Durant for Butler? What is going on with these GM’s lately? there’s gotta be something in the soda these days because nothing is making sense anymore
Agreed but the reward if he hits would be generational wealth for Rockets. And his trade value may not ever be lower.
They better sit down, we really don't need to make a trade. Like yeah we lost a few games but we are still far ahead of schedule. People forget starting the year we were hoping to sneak in at 8th and right now we are battling for the 2 seed. They should be thankful to get their picks back and matching salaries.
Right, that's why I said I get the value of having a guy under contract. I was just being nit picky about trading for Booker guaranteeing he'd be here throughout the duration of his contract vs. not having that same guarantee with KD.
Whoever is hoping for Zion Williamson… wtf are yall thinking? Lmao that dude is never going to be healthy Once his athleticism wears off he’ll go to scrub territory
Adam Silver reshuffling the board to try and increase viewership and once again Rockets get short end of the stick specially since we don’t have any national tv games left this season
