What you are referring to sounds like genocide. Forced expulsion of a people based on their ethnicity is ethnic cleansing. In international law this is considered war crime even if it doesn’t involve mass killing.

Boomers got a big education on all the various atrocities one can commit thanks to all the mid century dictators. But that awareness is fading with subsequent generations.
