If POR getting unprotected FRP for RW3 then HOU better be getting both Rob + Toumani Camara back in this trade.

 

I have a feeling we will trade for this dude or just lose a player.

 

I think he's HOU bound. Portland is holding out for better offers, but no team is going to blow a 1st rounder on him.

We need a guy like him off the bench. Jock is stone-handed and Steve can't do more than 2 possesions without falling down all over the court. As someone above said, we win 3 of the last 4 with RW3 easily.

Monte McNair has made some nice moves during his tenure in Sacramento.

 

One of the things we have going for us is that there are a lot of big men on the trade market. Vuc, Nurc, Gafford, Capella, Jock & Steveo….

Portland is not likely to find a buyer at their asking price.

 

With the Lakers now out of the center market, there can’t be a ton of competition for Time Lord. Really hoping we can get something done tomorrow.

 

Why can't Stone unload Jock with all these teams in need of centers?

 

The “competition” with Portland isn’t really other buyers. Williams doesn’t really fit other buyers, because they need a starting C or reliable backup. Can’t really trade for Williams to fill that role when you know he’s going to miss half the games. As for us, that’s fine, we want him as a platoon defensive backup alongside Adams.

The “competition” is with Portland just keeping him. It’s not really logical for them to do it, but sometimes GMs just set an asking price and won’t take the best offer if it’s below that asking price because they don’t want to take an L.

 

The Jonas trade for scraps has to hurt Portlands trade aspirations. I mean 2 two round picks should be enough with whatever contract fits.

One or two scrubs can't make big impact.

He and Springer would solidify our bench defensively. Williams can also give you an offensive threat that you just don’t have with Landale or Adams. We all know that this was a wait and see year anyway, so these tweaks would be pretty decent. I hope it happens.

 

Lol I wouldn't consider Springer in any scenario with actual in game minutes
